Cattle grubs:

Galmektin inj. ad us. vet. acts against all stages of cattle grubs.
However, the timing of treatment is important. The best results are achieved when treatment is made after adult heel fly activity ceases. Affecting Hypoderma larvae at a time when they are present in the vital organs may cause adverse reaction in the host. Affecting Hypoderma lineatum present in liver tissue may cause bloat.
If during the treatment is H. bovis presented in the vertebral canal, may cause dizziness or paralysis. Therefore, cattle must be treated before or after the period of these developmental grub forms.
Cattle treated with Galmektin inj. in the period of fly activity may be repeatedly treated by Galmektin inj. in the winter, in the case of endoparasites (scab, rays), without risk of adverse reactions.

Facultative agents of skin myiasis in cattle:

After detection of larvae of facultative myiasis in animals administer the Galmektin inj. The administration is very effective against larvae up to two days of age. Elderly, adolescent larvae may appear in the wounds three days after treatment. The injection efficacy persists for 14 days after administration. Galmektin administration at the time of breeding interventions, such as castration, brand burning, protects animals before the larvae attack of the facultative agents of myiasis within 14 days after treatment.

Sheep

Administer 0.5 ml per 25 kg bodyweight. For merino sheep, it is necessary to make sure that the needle passes through the wool and skin before applying the solution. For Psoroptes mites, it is necessary to administer the drug twice in 7 days.
