ASPERGIN

Composition:

Natrii propionas 100 g in 100 g of the veterinary preparation

White to yellowish powder.

Characteristics: 

Propionic acid and its salt are the natural products of metabolism, therefore their supplementation in feedstuff and drinking water is considered to be harmless. In ruminants, propionic acid is the final product of paunch fermentation. It is absorbed in a huge amount and afterwards underlies intermediary metabolism. In monogastric animals it represents necessary compound in relation to metabolic disorders of fatty acids of odd amount of carbon atoms, cholesterol and amino acids. These animals are able to metabolise relatively huge amount of propionic acid.

Area of use:

- treatment and protection against aspergillus mycosis of waterfowl, Galliformes and pigeons
- prevention of mould in feed and the reduction of pathogens content
- fungal growth inhibition and effective prevention of animal mycotoxicosis
- prevention against agglomeration, overheating and loss of nutrients in feedstuff

Dosage:

Therapeutic-protective administration in aspergillus mycosis:  0.5 % into drinking water, i.e. 500 g of the veterinary preparation ASPERGIN plv. sol. ad us. vet. into 100 L of drinking water, during 10 days.

Recommended administration of ASPERGIN plv. sol. ad us. vet. for the preservation of a feed:

The administration of the veterinary preparation ASPERGIN plv. sol. ad us. vet. does not have any undesirable effect on the active substances included in a feed, as well as it does not have any negative effect on the storage of a feed.

Route of administration:

Homogenously incorporated into the feed or diluted in drinking water.

Withdrawal period:

Without withdrawal period.

Special precautions for storage:

Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

Store at 15 - 25 °C. 
Store in a dry place.
Protect from light.

Shelf-life:

24 months.
Shelf life after dilution in drinking water 24 hours.
