GALCES tablets for dogs

Composition:

1 tablet contains:

Active substances:
Praziquantel 50.0 mg
Pyrantel pamoate 150.0 mg
Fenbendazole 200.0 mg

Excipients: Tabletting agents ad 570 mg.

Yellowish tablet of 13 mm diameter and weight of 570 mg.

Indications:

Nematodosis and cestodosis in dogs caused by Toxocara canis (adult and late immature forms), Toxascaris leonina, Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala, Trichuris vulpis (adult), Echinococcus granulosus, Echinococcus multilocularis, Taenia spp. and Dipylidium caninum (adult and immature forms).

Dosage for each species, route(s) and method of administration:

The recommended dose is: 5 mg praziquantel, 15 mg pyrantel pamoate and 20 mg fenbedazole per 1 kg bodyweight, i.e. 1 tablet per 10 kg bodyweight.

Advice on correct administration:

For single oral administration only.

Tablets can be applied either directly to dogs by placing them on root of the tongue or by disguising them in the favourite food. Regular worming of dogs should be carried out every three months.

Withdrawal period:

Do not use in food-producing animals.

Contraindications:

Do not use simultaneously with piperazine medicaments.
Do not use in dogs younger than two weeks.

Adverse reactions:

Not known.

Special storage precautions:

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Store below 25°C. Protect from light.
Do not use after the expiry date stated on the label.
